How does NPA integrate with third-party tools?

NPA is built on standard Salesforce objects—such as Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Campaigns—which are widely supported across the Salesforce ecosystem. As a result, most third-party tools designed for Sales Cloud integrate smoothly with NPA.

What if we’re already on NPSP? Can we replace it with NPA?

Yes! If you already have a robust, well-functioning Salesforce environment and don’t want to move your customizations, data, reports, and automations into a brand-new org, an in-org migration may be the right approach. This allows your data and configurations to be transitioned within your existing Salesforce environment—minimizing disruption, avoiding costly rebuilds, and preserving what’s already working.

If we start with NPA, can we later move to Nonprofit Cloud (NPC)?

Yes. NPA can be implemented in an NPC-enabled Salesforce environment. You can start with a new NPC instance without enabling Person Accounts or provisioning NPC-specific permissions, allowing NPA to be configured cleanly. If and when you decide that NPC is the right fit, the transition can be thoughtfully planned to build on your existing Salesforce setup—expanding capabilities without starting from scratch.
